How To Make Your Closing Simple

BUYERS

Two weeks prior to settlement, we need the following items:

  1. A copy of your executed contract
  2. Name and telephone number of your lender and realtor.
  3. Name and telephone number of your homeowner insurance agent.

Would you like a survey of your property? It is an optional item not usually required by your lender, although we always recommend a new survey on any purchase.


Two days before settlement, conduct your final walk-through inspection to assure repairs are complete.

Bring to closing:

  1. Cashier's check for your closing funds
  2. Picture ID

SELLERS

Please provide the following information and documentation:

  1. Termite inspection company
  2. Company name and loan number for any existing mortgages.
  3. Any repair invoices.
  4. Deed
  5. If applicable, a Homeowner's Association Disclosure Package to buyer.

Bring to closing:

  1. Picture ID
  2. Original repair invoices
